Hybrid Soul Project is the brainchild of Randraiz Wharton. He and Shayla worked together on other projects and had an instant connection. Their mututal respect for music and expression through song drove them to seek out other like-minded musicians. We like to consider ourselves a family. We think and play as though we share one mind at times. We choose material that says something, and that can really move people. We perform covers and original material. Our influences include Neo-Soul, R&B, Old School R&B, Rock, Funk and Jazz. We take a song and make it truly our own.
