INFO:
CJ Baran
Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard
Birthday: 02/13/90

I picked up my first guitar when I was about 8 years old. I played it for a month and absolutely hated it! Then when I
was 10 I picked my guitar back up to try to learn "All the Small Things" by Blink 182. I began to love the guitar. It
became my life, an obsession. In the 6th grade I started my first band; however, there was one problem. We had no
bass player. I met Nick on the first day of school. I nagged him everyday to buy a bass and join my band "Kaution".
Finally, he cracked and got a bass for Christmas and joined the band. Kaution stayed together for about 4 years
and then we took a break. Nick and I were recording at a studio in Long Island when we met Derek and Steve. We
decided to form a band. We named the band Push Play.

Steve Scarola
Guitar, Keyboards, Background Vocal
Birthday 05/08/90

Hey whattup? I'm Steve and my story begins at home. I want to thank all the people who have brought music to my
life, especially my family. I owe the world to my mom, dad and brother. Without their support and love, none of this
would be happening. Music is a big part of my life both in and out of school. It all started at home with piano lessons
at the age of seven. At the time Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven didn't hold my interest. I learned to play the
saxophone and tuba in school and I taught myself how to play the drums just for fun. Playing guitar is my life. I'm
into everything... rock, jam bands and a little Bob Marley always makes me feel good. My top five bands are Pearl
Jam, Rage Against the Machine, All American Rejects, Brand New, and Dave Matthews Band. I started playing the
guitar at the age of twelve and never stopped playing ever since. Not a single day goes by that I don..t play. Playing
guitar has brought many opportunities my way. I work after school tutoring kids who want to learn how to play guitar.
Push Play is by far the best musical experience yet. Playing with CJ, Nick, and Derek has been phenomenal. We
work really well together; everyone appreciates and respects the others' talents. The rest has yet to be written. I'll
fill you in when it happens. Peace.

Nick DeTurris
Bass
Birthday: 12/19/89

Let's see... how to begin? I am from Commack NY. My birthday is December 19th which happens to be my brother's
birthday too considering we are twins. I live at home with my parents, brother and dog and if it wasn't for them and
all their support I don't think I could have established myself as a musician like I am today. The reason I started to
play bass was not actually for my love of music, I like to think that's the reason why I stuck with the instrument. The
real reason I began to play was because CJ and I met in the 6th grade and he had a band named Kaution and they
needed a bass player so he asked if I wanted to play. I had explained to him many times that I knew nothing about
the bass, but he convinced me and I bought my first bass. I am basically self taught and I can't imagine life without
my bass now. One day CJ and I were at a Recording Studio and we came across Derek and Steve. We all hung
out, got to know each other, and jammed for the day. We decided that we should make a band together. So we did
and its all history from there!
